This family home is set high, facing North West over Narrabeen Lake on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

The modest Brick veneer home has outgrown the teenage family,it was time to go up.Like many other projects we decided to intergrate the upper storey via a large stairwell void.

This allows good airflow, light and a sense of space,as well it allows conversation to be had without going up and down stairs all the time.

A large central void allows interaction between the floors, and a large atrium skylight over the stairs, filters light through the central core.

The indoor outdoor connection is through a large entertaing balcony, allowing Lake Glimpses off the North Facing upstairs Family room and Master bedroom.

Study nooks and downstairs break out areas enables many private and quiet places to relax or study.
